Chuck Dowd, P.E. graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and also received a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with Multidisciplinary Program in Acoustical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Chuck is a licensed professional electrical engineer for Georgia and Alabama, and carries a Georgia Low-Voltage Telecommunication license as well.
This Alabama native has 27 years of audio-visual and low voltage systems design experience including room acoustics, noise isolation, and mechanical noise mitigation in addition to audio-visual systems design. His involvement in AVIXA, the International Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, continues to provide him access to the latest effective technologies and studies in his area of expertise.
His portfolio includes designing systems for notable Southeast owners including United Therapeutics, USDA, Atlanta Falcons, University of Georgia, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Lanier Technical College, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Auburn University to name a few.
In addition to his experience in the industry, Chuck continues to make an impact in his community by leading a group of technical and on-stage volunteers to produce engaging bible story, singing, and other group activity presentations for nearly 200 first and second graders.
