The new 3.5-acre public safety complex will house the city’s court, police station, and a new fire station. The Fire Station & Fire Administrative Building includes individual bunk rooms, exercise room, turn-out gear, private showers, conference room, office spaces, tool room, break room, and three bays for fire engines and equipment. The Police & Municipal Court Building occupies a one-story building with a basement. Space includes offices, conference rooms, sallyport, fingerprinting room, evidence storage spaces, interview rooms, uniform patrol division supply room, training room, armory, locker rooms, a high-value weapons storage space, and storage support spaces. The complex can be accessed from Cambridge High School Road with around 140-total parking spaces for the public and staff.
